On a typical day you visit three, family owned domaines and taste around 20 red Pinot Noir and white Chardonnay and Aligoté wines from the bottle and barrel. We taste regional Bourgogne, village and Premier Cru wines across a range of vintages.

Included is a three-course gourmet lunch, with wine, in local restaurants famous for their typical Burgundy cuisine. We also provide a personalized information pack with tasting notes. There is an opportunity to buy wine, from Domaines often unavailable outside France, at vineyard prices.

The Côte de Beaune tour includes, for example, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Monthélie, Savigny-Les-Beaune and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

Côte Chalonnaise includes, for example, Montagny, Givry, Mercurey and Rully.

In the Côte de Nuits our visits include, for example, Nuits-Saint-George, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits.

Our one-day tour is 185 Euro per person inclusive.

Two day tour

Our two-day tour follows the full one-day program on each day and you can select two of the three Côte; for example Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. On our two-day tour we visit six winegrowers and taste around 30-35 different wines. Each day we visit a different restaurant for lunch.

Our two-day tour is 370 Euro per person inclusive.

Three day tour

For the real wine enthusiast! This tour offers a whole day in each of the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Nuits. Our three-day tour visits nine winegrowers and we taste between 45 and 50 different wines. On each of the three days we visit a different restaurant for lunch offering a great opportunity to match typical Burgundy dishes and wine.

Our three-day tour is 550 Euro per person inclusive.

Grand Premier One Day tour

On this special tour we take you to Domaines who produce some of Burgundy’s best-known Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines. Premier Cru represents just 10% and Grand Cru a minute 2% of the wines produced in Burgundy and the latter is often very difficult to taste on a day-to-day basis. We will visit three growers during the day and taste a mix of Premier Cru and Grand Cru red and white Burgundy plus some excellent Village wines – described by many as Burgundy’s best-kept secrets.

We drive through Burgundy’s famous wine villages and stop to take a close look at some of the region's best known vineyards; e.g. Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Corton and Le Montrachet. Throughout the day we provide an informative explanation on Burgundy wine.

Also included is an excellent three-course lunch, with wine, in local restaurants famous for their typical Burgundy cuisine.

The price of our Grand Premier Tour is 230 Euro per person inclusive.

Gourmet Grand Premier One Day tour

This is a tour for the foodies! We've combined our Grand Premier tour (see above) where we taste some of Burgundy's top Premier Cru Appellations and Grand Cru with an exceptional lunch in Le Bistro du Bord de l'eau at the Relais et Château Hostellerie Levernois (www.levernois.com). The Hostellerie, whose main restaurant has a Michelin star, is situated in wonderful parkland and we enjoy lunch around the log fire in winter and on the waterside terrace in summer. This exceptional one day tour combines superb wine tasting with exceptional food. Our Grand Premier one day tours can be combined with our one or two day Classic tours, subject to availability.

The price of our Gourmet Grand Premier Tour is 260 Euro per person inclusive.

Chablis Experience One Day Tour

Experience the essence of Chablis! Taste and understand the four Chablis appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru and, if we are fortunate, Chablis Grand Cru. Appreciate fully the distinctive Chablis geology and terroir and during the day you will taste the distinctive differences between vineyards (called climat) that set Chablis apart from the rest of Burgundy.

This tour is organized and guided by our friend and colleague Claudie Héline who lives in the Chablis area and has a degree in Sensorial Analysis from the University of Wine in France and the WSET Certificate. Claudie speaks fluent English too!

On this one-day tour we visit three independent, family winegrowers and enjoy a traditional three-course lunch with wine in a local restaurant.

You will meet the winegrowers, see the cellars, learn about Chablis winemaking and drive in around the small villages close to Chablis.

You will see the full aspect of this amazing but very small wine area from a beautiful viewpoint in the heart of the vines and take a close look at the work in the vineyards.

Chablis is a two-hour drive from Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy and we recommend that you overnight in or near the charming village of Chablis from where we can pick you up on the morning of your tour. Alternatively, it is an easy train journey from Paris and you can take an early morning train from Paris to Auxerre where we can meet you at the station to start your tour.

This one-day Chablis Experience tour is 195 Euro per person and can be combined with all our other Burgundy Discovery tours for a complete Burgundy Wine Experience.
